Everyone was shocked when the 17-year-old, Janina San Miguel, won the Bb. Pilipinas 2008 - Miss World title on the recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2008 beauty pageant.

Paolo Bediones: Janina, how are you? < strong>Janina San Miguel: I'm fine.
Paolo Bediones: Alright, so you won two of the major awards - Best in Long Gown, Best in Swimsuit, do you feel any pressure right now?
Janina San Miguel: No, I don't feel any pressure right now.
Paolo Bediones: Confident! Alright! Please choose a name of the judge.
Paolo Bediones: We have Miss Vivienne Tan.
Vivienne Tan: Good Evening.
Janina San Miguel: Good Evening.
Vivienne Tan: The question is, what role did your family play to you as candidate to Binibining Pilinas?
Janina San Miguel: Well, my family's role for me is so important b'coz there was the wa- they're, they was the one who's... very... Hahahaha... Oh I'm so sorry, Ahhmm... My pamily... My family... Oh my god... I'm... Ok, I'm so sorry... I... I told you that I'm so confident... Eto, Ahhmm, Wait... Hahahaha, Ahmmm, Sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever b'coz I'm only 17 years old and ahahaha I, I did not expect that I came from, I came from one of the tough 10. Hmmm, so... but I said dot my family is the most important persons in my life. Thank you.


Janina almost answered the question in Filipino with long pauses in between. Aside from winning the Bb. Pilipinas 2008 - Miss World title, she also won two special awards in the Bb. Pilipinas 2008 pageant - Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown.

22 Module Positions

Populus features an incredible 22 fully collapsible module positions providing you with the ultimate in flexibility. Populus includes built in style and implementation for the extra module positions "user10 - user 17". These module positions are not defined in a default Joomla install and must be added.

You can add these additional module positions by going to "Site > Template Manager > Module Positions" in your Joomla administrator. Add each of the additional module positions by entering the name in the "module position" field. Then click Save. Now your extra module positions will be ready for you to place module content into, Populus will take care of the rest.

Mootools Integration

Populus utilises the javascript library known as mootools to power special effects such as the RokMooMenu, RokSlide integration, and RokZoom features. Populus uses the latest development build of the mootools javascript library, but is also now compatible with the earlier 1.11 version of mootools as well for better integration and backwards compatibility.

Populus' built in mootools javascript and functionality can also be disabled, should you need to use third party extensions which utilise other javascript libraries.
